Welcome to Best Camp Recipes! This site is a collection of all the best camping, hiking, hunting, and outdoor recipes that we have accumulated over the years. They come from fellow campers, scouts, scout masters, and outdoors enthusiast.

Our site is broken-down by the type of cooking: foil meals, pie iron meals, and no-utensil cooking. Each section has al list of recipes for that section. The recipes link lists all our recipes. And our discussion forum allows you to share and voice your opinion about what you like to cook and eat while camping or hiking.

Turkey Cordon Bleu in a Pie Iron

Bread
Margarine, or butter spray
Turkey breast, sliced (or chicken breast)
Ham, sliced
Swiss cheese

Butter two slices of your favorite bread and place butter side down, one on each side of pie iron. Place on one side slices of turkey breast, ham, and Swiss cheese. Close iron and clamp; place in the coals, cooking until the filling starts to bubble, and the cheese has melted.
